Ever Summer the Jewish Culture Festival takes place on the theater stages in the heart of historic Krakow and in the synagogues, streets and squares of 14th Century Kazimierz, the former Jewish quater. As the festival's cheif American patron, the Taube Foundation for Jewish Life & Culture sponsors Festival as one of the Jewish world's most important cultutral destination sites.

Founded in 1988, the Festival has earned a place in the Polish, European and global cultural landscape, attracting 15,000 Jews and non-Jews alike to performances of the Jewish arts and celebrations of the religious and secular learning that have their roots in this evocative Jewish space.
